|Finish:||15:07 - 15:26|
|Stage length:||129 km|
|Altitude meters:||2,819 m|
A royal stage that will very likely decide the whole race. Over 3,000 vertical metres is a real test of endurance and stamina. The competitors have to climb the Dlouhé hillside, and then there is the finish on the Červenohorské sedlo. It's a finale where the road has an average gradient of over five per cent, which may seem acceptable, but it's a place where only the strongest will remain after the previous portion of kilometres on the climb up the Long Slopes.
The historic centre with many interesting houses, the landscaped square, the castle with its arcaded courtyard and park, the remains of the walls with a round bastion and the aquapark with a wellness centre, all this can be admired in Bruntál. In the surroundings of the town you will also discover charming natural spots and several Tertiary and Quaternary volcanoes!
Červenohorské sedlo is a saddle in the Hrubý Jeseník mountain range, located on the historic Moravian-Silesian border. It is situated at an altitude of 1013 m on the route of an important road crossing of the I/44 road, and there is a ski resort in the saddle.
