A town with roots dating back to the 13th century, Zábřeh represents a dynamic crossroads where history meets an active present. For those who love to move, it offers a unique cycling path built on a disused railway track, leading through picturesque landscapes without any demanding climbs. Zábřeh is the birthplace of the legendary traveler Jan Eskymo Welzl, whose adventurous spirit lives on in local races, events, the town brewery, and the honest products of the Via Delicia family cannery. Finish:
A renowned climb with an elevation gain of almost 900 metres over 14 kilometres takes participants in the Peace Race to the unique hydroelectric reservoir, the largest in the country and the third largest pumped storage power station in the world. This technical gem has been one of the 7 Wonders of the Czech Republic since 2005.
