Even though the last part of the 2024 Peace Race has a total elevation gain of 2223 metres, it can be assumed that the current race leader will keep the yellow jersey. But it won't be easy, the second of the stage's two mountain premiums ends on the challenging Rejvíz climb and anything can happen. The overall winner will be crowned in Jeseník on the Square of Peace not long after lunchtime.
Start:
The mountain ridges rising in the north will tell you why Šumperk is called the gateway to the Jeseníky Mountains. Stroll through the historic centre, see the Dominican monastery with the Baroque Church of the Annunciation, the remains of the walls, the Museum of Homeland History and the Geschader House with its witches' exhibition!
Finish:
The town of Jeseník, which lies in the heart of the mountains, in a landscape full of natural wealth, greenery and silence, in a landscape of springs of healing water and clean air. Jeseník is famous for its spa, named after the famous native and founder of modern hydrotherapy Vincenzo Priessnitz.
